Kaitiaki looks out over Tantalus and Stony Ridge Wineries. Both offer wine tasting and beautiful meals amongst their vineyard settings.

A short drive away, you’ll find many other wineries including Man’o’War, Mudbrick Estate, Poderi Crisci, Casita Miro and Te Motu Estate.

Just 6 minutes drive from the Lodge is the beautiful Onetangi Beach. The beach stretches over 2kms long and is the perfect place to catch some rays and cool off from the hot summer sun. Just a short drive away, Palm Beach and Oneroa Beach also offer a great place to kick back and relax.

Just 6 minutes drive from the Lodge is our favourite restaurant, Three Seven Two. The restaurant won Metro Peugeot Restaurant of the Year 2019 and serves beautiful local cuisine overlooking Onetangi Beach.

A short drive into Ostend and you can also find the best coffee on the island at local spot, Island Coffee.

A 15 minute walk along the hilltops and you’ll find Batch Winery with stunning views towards Auckland city.

We also recommend Ki Māha, Tantalus, Casita Miro and Oyster Inn for lunch and dinner.
